They’re in the Sunday Paper, it is one of the best parts of the paper –  the comics. How does one tell a story in 6 panels? And what is it about super heroes that make us love the “BANG, POW, and BAMs”? We will break down the elements of some of the classic comics such as Calvin and Hobbs, Garfield and Peanuts along with the excitement of Marvel and DC comics to learn how to create great comics of our own. At the end of the workshop, not only will the students have their own comics, but a collection of comics from their fellow comic strip artists.
