KAFI Academy- KAFI has done it again! A unique series of summer hands-on workshops for budding animation, gaming and design students kicked off on June 13th, 2006. Middle and high school students were provided with first hand experience and knowledge to create and develop animation projects in stop-motion and gaming concepts.
In Animation-I workshop, middle school students were introduced to story boarding, making a cartoon with a paper puppet and bringing it to life using iStopmotion.
Animation-II workshop for middle and high school students, provided the basic concepts of animation but this time using Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Flash. Students brought their story ideas, eagerness to learn and their quest to concur their animation fix, then transformed all of it into an animated film.

From an original idea, to animating, to preparing a marketing plan, all aspects were covered. Students were also introduced to various software programs and techniques to help develop and process their game ideas.
